HAMFEST India 2017

The Science City, one of its kind in India, inaugurated on 1st July,1997 has been developed as a major attraction for the residents’ of Kolkata as well as for the national and international visitors to the metropolis. Developed by the National Council of Science Museums, it is one of the largest and finest in the world, presenting science and technology in a stimulating and engaging environment that is truly educational and enjoyable for the people of all ages. It has, over the years, become a place for memorable experience and enjoyment for both the young and the old.

The complete facilities include air-conditioned main and mini auditoria, seminar halls, exhibition hall, large exhibition ground, registration counters, catering & parking areas with state-of- the-art facilities. The convention facility at Science City is ideally suited to professional gatherings,cultural meets and shows, trade exhibitions, corporate annual meetings etc. The facility is adjunct to India’s largest Science Centre, the only such combination in India, if you want to take a break from a busy meeting schedule.

All the venues of the convention center are in close proximity to each other and are within a minute of walking distance from the parking area with abundant greenery all around to relax after long sessions. Separate sub-station provides uninterrupted power supply.
